The Pain d'Épices Cabin is the perfect place to slow down, disconnect, and enjoy simple pleasures: a bike ride through the fields, a nap in the sun lulled by the sound of birdsong or frogs, or a moment of reading on the terrace, a glass of Alsace wine in hand... And if you feel like getting out and about, Basel or Mulhouse are just a few kilometers away for a city trip.

LA CABANE PAIN D'ÉPICES
Cabin surrounded by nature in a preserved setting facing a pond, comprising a living room with a wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with an ecological walk-in shower and a composting toilet. A mezzanine bedroom features a king-size bed. A private terrace and garden with armchairs and a fire pit. Minimalist decor and modern, high-end amenities. The cabin is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.

A fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need to prepare delicious meals or simply a good cup of coffee. The essentials—olive oil, salt, tea, coffee, and sugar—are provided to simplify your arrival. All without energy-consuming extras: no microwaves, ovens, or high-power appliances, in keeping with the eco-friendly approach of the place.

A SELF-SUFFICIENT AND ECO-RESPONSIBLE CABIN
Experience spending a few days in our natural and eco-friendly accommodation! Energy-autonomous thanks to its solar panels and rainwater harvesting, the Cabin rests on wheels, without foundations, in order to preserve its environment as much as possible. Wastewater is treated on site using a micro-station, and the materials chosen are sustainable: local wood from the Vosges, recycled textile insulation, etc. As for the interior design, every detail has been designed to combine aesthetics, comfort, and minimalism. A refined atmosphere that leaves room for the essentials and invites you to simplicity. As for meals, breakfasts are homemade, prepared with fresh, seasonal, and local products – often picked from our garden – in a zero-waste approach. Here, everything has been designed to allow you to live differently, in tune with nature.
THE SWEET LIFE AT LA CABANE PAIN D'ÉPICES
It's disconnecting from your phone, walking in nature, reading a book, cooking a good meal, playing a board game, being bored, dreaming, meditating, taking a nap, chatting for hours, enjoying the simple things. In winter, it's staying warm inside watching the snow fall, lighting the wood stove to always be warm and taking the opportunity to heat the kettle and make yourself a nice hot drink or in summer, opening the windows wide to enjoy nature.
This is our version of the slow life! A simpler and more authentic way of living, conducive to relaxation, observing nature, and reconnecting with yourself and your loved ones.
