WELCOME TO ALSACE...
Just a few kilometers from the house, numerous activities await you. The Sundgau region, less touristy than the Strasbourg area or the Alsace Wine Route, is nonetheless very beautiful, unexpected, and peaceful. It's the ideal region for slow tourism, a quiet getaway to enjoy nature and the simple things in life.
Here, each season offers its own little joys.
Winter, our favorite season, is punctuated by sledding, snowshoeing, skiing, Christmas markets, evenings by the fire, gingerbread and mulled wine.
In spring and summer, enjoy hiking, cycling, meals at farm inns, swimming in ponds, and exploring flower-filled Alsatian villages, not forgetting the traditional Flammekueche (tarte flambée) and fried carp. Autumn, meanwhile, celebrates Indian summer with toasted marshmallows around the fire pit, herbal teas sipped while watching the rain fall, and perhaps a sauna session after a walk in the forest among the golden leaves…
